Top Tips to keep fit and healthy during Covid-19!

Here are a few tips to try that may just help you to keep some peace amongst the household!


Be flexible with your thinking about time during the day!
Normally, between the hours of 9am and 3pm, you may have time to go to the gym or yoga class. But as we have less time, think about options of how you can exercise or have a little bit of time to yourself. You can try breaking your exercise times into 2 sessions a day instead of your normal 1 session per day.
Let me give you an example, in the morning I usually do some stretching and strength work for 30 minutes before the kids get up and then we all go a bike ride after lunch which makes the day not so long. It’s the best option for me and my family at the moment and we get to go outside in the fresh air after lunch!


Plan time for the children’s homework and your own work each day!
My kids know that after breakfast, they will be doing their homework for a few hours. This is similar to our normal routine of breakfast and dropping the kids to school – remember, we all love routine, especially kids! The kids also know that I do some work late morning, and they usually leave the office so I can have an hour of work time before lunch.


Enjoy the time with your children!
It can be such a big challenge at times but take a breath and think about how much fun it is reading or working out a question with your children! Before you know it, they will be back at school and you will be back to your normal busy routine. You might even miss not having them around, once in a while!
