Sports Strapping – Upper Body

Learn the basic strapping techniques for the upper body. A practical course designed to assist the weekend warrior, sports coach or trainer to understand the basic principles of sports strapping for injury management.

 

Sports Strapping – Lower Body
Learn the basic strapping techniques for the lower body. A practical course designed to assist the weekend warrior, sports coach or trainer to understand the principles of sports strapping for injury management.

A handbook and all strapping tape will be provided.

 

Investment for both courses:       $190 (incl GST) Half day in total for both courses.

What to wear: Comfortable and warm clothing as you will be expected to change into no top or sports bra and shorts for trapping practical. Shaving of legs may assist when stripping off of sports tape.

Level of class: Sports coaches, trainers or those interested in injury management will benefit from the course, as we will practice the basic strapping techniques for the most common sports injuries. A basic knowledge of anatomy is recommended.

Numbers in a class: A maximum of 10 ensures we provide a professional and personalised service.

 


 

Sports Massage

 


This practical course offers the opportunity to learn massage techniques to enhance the relaxation of muscles and improve athlete’s recovery after exercise. Learn how traditional massage skills can be an invaluable tool in athletic performance.

 

Investment:                                  $350 (incl GST) Full day in total for course

                                                      All we require from you is a group of keen participants!

 

A handbook and all massage oils will be provided. All you have to bring is a massage table between 2 people and your towels!

Level of class: Sports coaches, trainers or those interested in learning the basic techniques of massage for their teams or individual interest will benefit from the course. A basic knowledge of anatomy is recommended.
